Laundry Assistant

Description

Position Summary:
Reports to the Laundry Coordinator. Responsible for proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment, maintaining records of laundry operations in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and United States Marshals Services (USMS) directives.

Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) year experience in institutional laundry operations, including experience in two or more of the following areas: quantity purchasing, receiving, inventory and shipping of supplies required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver license in the State of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.

Post Hire Requirements:
Must successfully maintain complete annual in-service training requirements and maintain appropriate facility clearance.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
